Monroe vs KYB GR2
At the moment my
CRX rides on Monroe "sensatrac" (they were on when i bought it) and i cannot afford to use Tokico illuminas or Kyb AGX at the moment
. I was lookin at Kyb GR2s for now and worry about using a higher quallity shock/strut at a later date.
Are the GR2s any good or would i be better off just buying another set of monroes?

I'm sure the KYB are going to be much better since the Sensatrac in desighned for a smooth riding OEM replacment in a passenger car and the KYB Gr2 are a performance strut.
i dunno. when we put the sensatracs on my sisters civic LX it was way overdamped for the stock springs. you already have them on, and if they're still good, stick with them. GR-2's don't have a very good reputation with lowered suspensions so you'll just be spending money on something you'll have to replace after. save up to buy some koni yellows.
Back then I had some GR-2 on my car.
They were similar as the old Monroe GP.
I wouldn't buy sensatrac even on a winter beater aka.'84 Ford Escort.
Mouhahahahaha!!!!!!!!!
Go w/KYB.
In my case,I'll prefer and reccomand yellow.(The name is in my avatar).

i do not plan on lowering the car because of the areas i drive in would not allow for it. If i did and i installed a body kit i would damage the front bumper cover pretty much every day
