i drive a 95 accord and when i start my car my gas light comes on and goes off like normal but when my gas gets low it does not come on. i thought ok maybe the gas was not low enough to make the light come on so the next time my gas got low i went home and sat in my car with the engine on and i let my car run out of gas and no gas light. what is the problem and how do i fix it? thanks for any help

 

on my 94 it would not come on until the guage was in the red part of E

 

i had a 96 accord and as far as i remember my gas light never came on when i started the car...it never cycled on or off....that could indicate a problem
