distributor question

Default distributor question

i need to know if a d15 out of a del sol will work on a crx si (d16a6)????

because my dizzy just about locked up........... i can slighty turn it with a pair of pliers by hand

all single cam dizzy's should be the same. the wiring is different though. you'd have to re-pin the connectors.

the z6 dizzy is different. and i think you might be better off just sticking with a obdo dizzy. be a little easier. thats what i would do anyways

if are running an obd0 ecu you MUST run an obd0 dizzy out of either a 88-91 hf or si (mpfi)...so to answer your question no a del sol distributor wont work because of its status of obd1

thread jack! what is the dif. in the multi point and dual point dizzys? i know the multi has like 2 xtra wires but what are they for?

the timing is different i believe but please dont quote me im not a dizzy genious.

thanks for the help i just happen by chance to find one, me and my father were going to a friend of his shop and i noticed a rex beside someone's house........and long story short i got one for $50.... and might be able to get the whole car if the old guy will part with it!
