Default Plz help: Integra ignition question

I have a green key ignition out of a 98-01 model integra. my question is will this ignition work for a 1994 acura integra GSR (which was prior to the green key).

If you are asking will the immobilizer work on your 1994 Integra then no.

Can you mount the 2001 ignition on your 1994 steering column? Yes.

what is the benefit of the immobilizer do you need anything special to run it?

You have to have the black box with the green plug and the ECU that came with that car for the car to run. It is a theft prevention tool, and a hassle.
