i see alot of b16 threads but no b18 threads how come. i probably am not looking in the right places. i go into search and type in b18c builds for crx and i get for sale info. I want to be put in the right direction for a 88-91 crx and modify a b18 engine for it. Also can anyone give some ideas for a build of a crx,88-91 also want your opinion of b18c engine and a b16a transmission. any help would be great thank you very much and happy holidays

 

your not searching it right. i had a b18c5 in my 91 rex i liked it. i dont know why you want to use a b16 tranny with it u should just use the type r tranny basically the same ratios but with a longer 5th gear if i remember right. when i had my type r i had skunk 2 pro 1 cams with the skunk2 valvetrain up grade with some twm itb's

when your searching type in b18c and then look for the ef section on the right and the hit search

 

Tons of guys have this setup, myself included. Mine is JDM spec with every high dollar bolt-on money can buy (not happy about that), it's a Honda Challenge racecar, feel free to ask me any questions you might have if you can't find it on the forumz here.
