My car won't stop
I've been noticing some what of a gas issue I guess... Last night I was driving home in my 91 civic hatch si, and my car just stopped... I pushed my car into a local parking lot, and left it there over night. Thank god I was a block from my house. I'm getting spark from the distributor, new spark plugs and cables, replaced the main relay and still the same thing... The car is choking, but doesn't want to turn over, and then I recieve a some back firing out the exhaust. I don't understand what is going on... I took of the hose to the back of the fuel rail, and I cranked the car, and gas shoots out. So I really don't think it's the fuel pump... Anybody have any suggestions?
I'll try that thanks. I was for some odd reason thinking that it might be the injectors as well. I just did a motor swap on it. I put a b18b in it. The car runs alright. After we did the swap I also noticed a high and low idle. I thought their was a vacum leak. If there is one I sure hell's can't see it or hear it. I still have my coolant, and I replaced the idle air. I started the car, and removed the cap to the radiator and turned the heater on recycle full blast, and it still idles the same, I almost covered the engine with brake cleaner, and still nothing.... I'm honestly thinking that it has something to do with my fuel somewhere. I'm so irritated with this car situation. I had a 2000 GSR, and I was t-Boned by a drunk driver. Thanks for the input.
