Im just curious what size speakers are in our ES1's, front and rear? Im new to this. Last time i made a post it was closed, so i made sure to search really well for this. I have found tons of info on how to install, so im fine for that. Im just curious what size? The last time i saw someone ask this someone pointed them to https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1928704 , but i didnt see the size anywhere in that top notch install guide. Any other posts have had various sizes listed for the rear deck, most say 6x9 but others have said smaller. Crutchfield says one thing, and Best Buy says another. LOL. Thank you for any info.

 

theyre 6.5 in the front and 6x9 in the rear look under the rear deck from your trunk if its oval its 6x9 if its round its 6.5
mines a 2door and i got 6.5 front and 6x9 rears
make sure your front one have about 2inches of depth or it wont clear i had to cut a bigger hole (or you can use spacers) installing infinity reference when i should of gotten kappas with the smaller magnet

 

i know 01-03 ES1's are 6.5 all around...i cant say anything about 04-05
Im pretty sure all the coupes are 6.5 front 6x9 rears

Apparently you didnt read my post very well where i said i have already searched, and even posted the most common article used. But no where in there is there a confirmed size. You even say in your post your pretty sure about the sizes. So i believe this post is legitimate, otherwise it would have been locked days ago. Thank you.

 

Let's make this real simple.

They're one of two sizes; 6.5 round or 6x9 oval.

Try looking in your trunk, under the rear deck lid, and determining whether they're round or oval. Problem solved.
