car bogs down just doesnt want to go.
first off this car is a h22 swapped 4th gen
when im driving and i hit the gas the car just boggs down and it almost feels like my brake pads are constantly rubbing and keeping the car from moving (thats what it feels like but no way thats what it is).
for example when i was driving home today from having a mehanic look at it, i was driving at about 60-65 the car would sound like i was going fast but as had as i hit the gas it wouldnt really go anywhere. and it constantly felt like it was trying to go but wouldnt. it felt like it was almost jerking the slightest bit. also i found out the cruse control isnt working which it did a few days ago (prolly has nothing to do with it tho).
i have no idea, i prolly didnt even explain it that good. ive just been stressing so much i cant even think right now.
any help is appreaciated!

check intake restriction (filter or manifold), take the plugs out and look at them, check for exhaust restriction especially in the cat, do a compression test. 185 psi when warm is optimum, 135 is minimum with no more than 30psi variation.
cool, i have thought about that actually cuz i just put on a new exhaust and i looked in the cat and it was pretty blocked up so i took a screw driver and broke up a bunch of ****(i know bad idea). figured i would just get a new cat soon. this this problem came around and i didn't want to buy a new cat if the engine was messed up or something.
also how do i check the cat is there a way? besides taking it off?

Check intake butterflies (IABs)!?!? maybe
My 4th gen which was jdm h22a swapped felt like **** in low rpms because the IABs weren't closed at low rpms

changed fuel filter nothing. hope the cat helps (just ordered one). any other ideas?
another thing is when i start it up on a cold start it will drive perfect for like 5 minutes and then after it warms up all the way thats when it does it.

I vote for cat or exhaust restriction.... I had a 72 Dodge 440 that got so bad it would barely move the car before I figured out what it was. You could rev the engine. Sounded OK, but put in gear and there was very little power.
Quick test is to loosen bolts just before the cat. It will be loud, but you will quickly know if that is the problem in less than a block.
