taking apart interior: 6th gen catchall tray in front of shifter/under radio/12V
you know that damn tray/area right, in front of the shifter that has the ONLY 12v power outlet in the car
yeah, mines hella sticky, how do i clean it? i know that sounds dumb as nails but its mega sticky, i truied using invisible glass on it, no worky made it stickier

i cleaned it hella with dawn ultra dish soap and water, 2x
it leaves a NASTY black sticky tar like residue on everything i have to ake it out and hit it with 2100PSI of water

Spray nine or goo gone would probably help get rid of that sticky crud faster than your high pressure washer alone. Sounds like someone probably had some sort of grip pad or grip spray applied in there at one point.

i really wanted to know how to take it apart though, i am not sure how well the simulated woodgrain **** will hold up against hard chemicals is why
i used windex 
it took like 10-15 minutes of hardcore scrubing and like half a roll of paper towels though
its like someone used it as part of a bong for a year, the rest of the car was mint except that sombitch being sticky and leaving residue on my CD's

Grab the cup holder cover door, and pull up on it until the cup holders pop out. Then stick your fingers under the woodgrain trim and pop it out. There are 3 clips in the front, I think one on each side, and one in each back corner. Once that is out, there are 2 screws holding the tray in.

but i guess it is just as well cuz i probably woulda broken or lost somethign else in the process
