i asked the dude awhile back to consider the em2 application with sunroof even and looks like we MIGHT have somebody who will do it. im sooo buying one if it falls threw. i know theres some of the em2 ballers or shot callers lol who wants one to.

Thanks again for your interest in my products! Do you know quite a few EM2 owners? I ask because I want to do the EM2 version but I need some good interest and other people really wanting them. I know it will be a good seller but I need the interest to convince me to invest in the $4000 it takes from start to finish to make a new application. I would really like to ditch my sunroof... that is 50lbs on the top of the car, which is not exactly conducive to a track car.

 

he sells the em1 cap for about $395. he does any color carbon and kevlar carbon. he said the em1 and 2 are about the same dimensions so it would be about the same cost if not $20 more.

 

hey i havnt really posted on this site but i read your post. I am a bit confused are you looking to completely take the roof out of the car and replace it with cf? if so how could you get it to stay seeing as you cant weld the cf? if your talking about an overlay i got mine overlayed if you want to see what it looks like i could try to post pics. Its a starfire pearl white with tons of cf. Let me know if your interested.

Note the car is very two tone'ish i would say but i guess you can photoshop out the rest of the cf to see waht just the cap looks like.

It honestly doesn't look bad, but having the fifty pound sunroof with a carbon fiber roof (real or imitation) seems too contradictory to take seriously.

It's like spending $4000 on a titanium exhaust system, and then installing 20" chrome plated wheels.

 

IMO, it'd look better on a black car.

for doing something uncommon, though. Diff'rent strokes.

 

funny you mention it would look better on black because i just repainted the car this summer to the white, it was NHBP before but honestly the cf was too subtle i wanted something more drastic i guess. I tried to keep it looking as clean as i could but seeing as im 20 i guess i just wanna do the whole show car thing while i can. Yes i realize its contradictory but its clearly just for looks, didnt have much choice it was my sisters hand me down car so it came iwth a sunroof, plus no diff really than when people put flat black vinyl on their roof, just more balling i guess ? anyways thanks for the feedback
