need this car for xmas please help!
so i stupidly decided to chage my spark plugs because it had been a long time and it has been getting cold out. after doing so i started up my car and it was reving up and down. which it had done a few months ago but after cleaning the throttle body the problem went away. went to take it around the block and i noticed when i got on the gas the was a lot of sputtering and it would not accelerate. so i pull over and check the wire make sure they are on good. i fire it back up and same thing. so i decide to pull a plug wire one at a time and try to see which isnt fireing. all sounded the same so i went back to the plugs i had taken out bc maybe i got a bad set. once i put them in it wouldnt start. so i put the new ones i just bought back in. still no start. i went out this morning checked for spark at the plug and there is none. is it possible i ruined my coil by pulling the wire and letting it start up? or maybe a relay?
any help would be really apreciated.

My first suspect would be a coil or ignition control module.
The only way for you to really determine this is to use the helms manual & a multimeter to test the components.

I have blown a few coils and or ignition modules in factory distributors doing the same thing you did.
I know if you take the dizzy to autozone they can check the parts to see if infact they a inoperable.

I sat outside of advance auto parts while it was raining for an hour once because I didn't mark which plugs properly went where on the dizzy and sparks plugs. After trying about every possible combination I finally got it and got in my car and drove off. I was so pissed at myself.
