Default cost to convert to v-band?

i need a new exhaust cause my kteller rusted itself out at the welds (mild steel welds on stainless!) looking to get a thermal 3", but i would like to have the flanges cut off and v-bands welded on. how much would that cost to have done?

Ask yourself this, how many times is your exhaust going to be on and off?

After the cost of the clamps and flanges, figure a shop wanting 2 hours of labor to mod it. Always best to think on the high end.

i've had the exhaust on and off about 10 times in the past two years or so, lol. its annoying trying to remove bolts, esp the top bolt on a 3 bolt flange. i'd pay the extra cost just to save myself the annoyance.

I take off my mid pipe on my custom 3" every time I go to the track to run open DP (which could be once a week for 2-4 months in the summer)

I think it was like $28 each for the 3 Vband setups I bought and I had a friend weld them in. There is a shop here in seattle that I bought 3" mandrel bent exhaust from(oil pan back) I think is was like $225.

If you know someone that can weld its not too bad
