Starter... How To?
many times i try to start the car, i hear grinding/screeching sounds, also some hesitation. im thinking my starter is crapped out.
how easy is it to replace??? i dont want to sound like a noob (kinda am), where exactly is the b18c5 starter???

Remove the intake arm. Disconnect the positive battery terminal, then the 12mm on the starter and the starter lead. Remove the lower 14mm bolt on the bottom of the starter first, then the top one... Replace starter. Reverse for installation... Pretty straight forward. Btw, you need a 12mm and 14mm socket and a ratchet handle with at least a 4" extension. Good luck.
For a starter, I'd honestly go for OEM. I mean, you'll be spending around $100 more but it'll last way longer and if you bought an autozone one with 1 year warranty, it may crap out a year later. You're hooped out of $200 and having to re-re w/ a new one.
