hi i have a 1988 honda prelude with a problem im not sure about.

i turned it on thismorning and it started making a weird noise like a fly stuck under the dash or something. the windscreen wipers then started going even though the *** thing was turned to off, then the noise started again. it just kept doing that.

i got to the point where i found the intergrated control unit and unplugged it, which stopped the noise, and everything else appeared to work as normal. is anything bad gonna happen if i leave it unplugged, or can it be fixed?

describe what you mean cus i dunno what that is. If you're talking about the main Relay then ya it's been known to have problems and you can just get a replacement from honda.

 

i dont know what it is either. it was sorta in behind where the stereo is, or just in that area anyway. and just had a sticker on it that said integrated control and some numbers.

but yeah i spose i could just get someone to look at it
