yes you could pay 600 on a zc hood.or put washers under your hood hinges and raise it enough to clear.

You have a few options....

first off, a zc hood is only $200-400 depending, it'll work

Also could do an SiR style front end conversion

or, just buy a VIS cf hood. They can be had in zc, SiR-usdm fitment, or SiR- JDM fitment

Hope that helps

or another option, which i personally wouldn't do but have seen it done before, is to notch the framing on the underside of the hood where it is hitting. Like I said I personally wouldn't do it but if money is tight, then it is an option.

I have seen others notch the "skeleton" of the hood for dual cam clearance as well. Its kinda janky but does work.

Weird that you can't close the hood. Hasport engine mounts are suppose to bring the motor down....

just notch the hood out underneath or spend money on a hood.

Why can't he make a thread abou this?

Give the new people a break. Not everyone does enough motor swaps to know about hood clearance or hood types.

If a topic doesn't interest you, move on.
