Taking a T3 Ramhorn Manifold and making it a T4
I have a Custom Ram Horn Manifold on my car considering upgrading to a Borg Warner T4 turbo but my manifold is set up for a T3. I was thining of just cutting the Manifold were it is welded to the Flange and welding on a T4 can this be done or is there a Adapter that works well for this i can purchase. the specific turbo is S372.
Basically looking to see if anyone has done this or has purcahsed an adapter to do this and if there results were good or bad. Please Help otherwise i may save and just get the Top mount Full Race Manifold.
band saw that bitch off and weld on a t4 flange, not to hard if you can weld or know someone that can weld it back on. Tig preferred.

I've done it the other way around. I ran a Full-Race T4 manifold on a T3 SC61 turbo. Here is a picture of my old setup. I was one of the first to have the Full-Race setup, great guys. I just happen to get my hands on there T4 manifold instead of a T3. Long story. Hope these pics help.

adapting a T3 to a T4 is counter productive and defeats the reason for moving a t4 platform. Mig weld should hold if its a good weld.
Welding it om seems to be the cheapest and quickest options so i will do that time to break out the bandsaw and then take it to my welding buddy to tig it on.
Just wondering why ? It would be plenty strong. The big issue I would have with him cutting the manifold up and tig welding it is if the manifold has ever been run before, its going to be very difficult to make a clean weld on it.
As for the atp flange, I couldn't find it on there website anymore, looked last week because I was in need of one. I did not call them though, so they might have it if you call, or I just didn't look good on there site.

This is what I've used before. Works real good.
