FAILED emissions test, anyone with a timing gun?
I BARELY failed my emissions test due to high HC levels.
I drive a 93 Civic Si with a 95 GSR motor and I am using a stock P28.
I get anywhere from 28-33mpg,spark plugs, plug wires, distributor including cap + rotor, and fuel filter are all new with less than 10k miles.
I run premium unleaded fuel and car runs great.
I do have a catalytic converter with 2.5" exhaust setup.
My car was stolen and they stole my distributor. I put a new distributor on and never had the chance to check the timing. I did a valve adjustment a while ago and I know the cams are lined up properly. However, I need to check if the timing is within spec.
Is there anyone with a timing gun willing to take 10 minutes out of their day to help me?
TIA

I live in North Seattle, but I am on snow tires so I've been down to Southcentre and up to Everett through this weather.
My tags are expired and I really need to get this solved.
Numba1 K Series is totally willing to help, but we just haven't had a chance to meet up. Anyone else with a timing gun?
