Default J Mandrel Bend Help

Can one of you guys point me in the right direction here;

I'm looking for (1) 3" J Mandrel Bend pipe ( for turbo to intercooler) the problem I'm having is that I have not found one with very close ratio, (picture included) all the ones I have found are to wide for my needed application, I prefer to purchase it from someone from the forum to help a supporting vendor, Any help will be great either post here or send me a PM.

Thanks !

No rarely they make/you will find a 3" in a sub 1:1 ratio. You may find it in a donut though

Hytech or Burns Stainless is your best bet for bend in 3" clr, it would be a 90 deg piece.

Probably the tighest j-bend you are going to find is going to be a 4" radius which will be 5" between the legs. You could fabricate that assembly from a 3" OD x 3" RAD w/ (2) 90s and some straight though.

You can also pie-cut your tube to achieve the shape you need.

Agtronic thanks! I was just today looking at your thread about the shop and your work, some skills you have ! My idea was to do some of this fab work at the house with very little tools to save some $ thats why I had the J pipe on mind, cut it to lenght (which I have the tools) and be done with it, but it looks like Im running out of options and will have to pay someone to do this

http://www.woolfaircraft.com/ you will have to take 2 90's and wel them ut they do have 3od on a 3 centerline radius AKA 1D bend Your not going to find 180's because its very difficult to bend the material without it cracking/ tearing.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
