1997 accord won't crank
Battery new, will start when solenoid is bridged.Have checked all fuses, found print about starter cut relay. Could this be problem,if so where exactly is it located? Thanks..Roe
If it lights/responds you've got a bad solenoid/starter.
If it doesn't light/responds you've most likely a problem with either:
1) Clutch overside switch (5spd)
2) Neutral Safety Switch (Automatic)
3) Electrical portion of the Ignition Switch
You didn't discribe your vehicle

Put either a twelve volt test light or a multimeter on the signal wire to the starter solenoid and see if it's energized when the key is worked.

It is a 1997 accord automatic trans. 2.2 engine factory alarm. The lights were left on and battery went dead. Installed new battery ,and alarm went off. took fuse out. will not start with fuse in or out.The dash lights come on up when key is turned on. When you try to start engine, you get 1 click and silence. turn key off and back on 1 click then silence.Like i said when you bridge solenoid it starts right up.
any of these:
1) Clutch overside switch (5spd)
2) Neutral Safety Switch (Automatic)
3) Electrical portion of the Ignition Switch
Although i'd still recommending verifiing you're getting a start signal from the switch.
