Will D2 coilovers fit on an ED9 becuase i havent seen it personally, and all the D2 coilover sets i find say they are for the EF9's....i do not know if there is a difference in the EF9 and ED9 stock suspension
Look under the back of your car and see if your stock shock sits over the top of your LCA, if it does, and the D2's your looking at also look like a fork on the bottom, then they would fit.
If not, buy different LCA's.
FYI, the EF9 is a civic and the ED9 is a CRX. Most people list CRX compatible parts with the EF8 chassic code.

just curious, but where did you get both your coilovers and LCA's from if you dont mind me asking? im just tryin to research it to save myself a little money if possible.
its better if you get your set from a d2 suspension dealer, rather than something like passwordjdm. by getting it from a dealer you can ask for custom spring rates, preloads, and dampening. my friends setup is 9kF/10kR and its still riding smoooooooth like stock.

True, but I've heard nothing but bad reviews from D2 owners. Same with ksport, just a bunch of Chinese made "________" You fill in the blank. Do some research on them, unless you already have you mind set on them, then go for it. I'm just giving you a heads up.
If you plan on spending this much, then just get Koni Yellows / Ground Controls. Vtecvoodoo sells them for a really good price, shipped. You wont get the LCAs but you will get suspension that is a whole lot better, for a similar price.

i got to lookin at the ksport coilovers, LCAs, and rear camber kits and i could actually save a little money, but how do they compare to the D2s? they appear to be nearly identical
Exactly ^^
Ksports have a real bad tendency to, well the shocks do, to blow. Right after the warranty is up, search around on here. You will find a bunch of stories about people having there Ksports or D2's for just over a year and there warranty expire and the shocks blow.
But I mean, if you don't plan on having the car that long, don't plan on tracking the car or anything & just use it for spirited driving, then go for it, just get some Ksports. They're decent for what they are, but if you do plan on in the future doing Auto-X/Road Racing/Time Attack/HPDE ect. ect. then just invest, don't spend more money then you have to, because they will need to be replaced sooner then later.
Just trying to save you headache, money and time spent to do something twice when you should always do it right the first time. GL though.

i really do apprecaite it, i prolly will hold off on seens how that seems to be the case....what coilover set and LCAs would you recommend i start investing in?
I have around 4 sets of friends with the ksport setup for over 2 years and nothing wrong has happened. You just follow the directions on the setup. Dirrr. FOr instance, to adjust the ride height, don't be lazy and try to do it from the spring itself. You are not supposed too. You play with that you blow the shock. Another durka durka. YOu are supposed to adjust the height from the bottom aka where the arm is at. And do yourself a favor and don't let an alignment shop or somebody you don't know try to adjust the height. THey will automatically do it from the spring and then blam. Blown shock. Plus you are supposed to preload them before installing.
