I have a question about my 2007 cbr 600rr. The last couple of weeks when I am cruising the temp will get up to 200 degrees, but if i rev high it will drop right away to 185 or so. Then while i am sitting at red lights the temp has reached as high as 250 before the fan kicks on. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks

 

IIRC fan turns on at 224-225 degrees

so youre saying that you rev with the clutch in while rolling and the temp drops?

if youre bike is hitting 250, be careful. and have it checked.

even my rc51 didnt hit higher than 233. and i really had to be pushing it to get to that temp. I wouldnt hit higher than like 220 at lights

 

on my 07 rr the fans comes on around 222-224 range. sounds like your having a problem with your thermostat.

 

thermostat +1 definately sounds like a sticky stat

 

or the pump... mine has barly 8.5K on the odo and the muhfukkin pump went out.. ghey. i heard its not so uncommon with the 06-07s
