Battery, SRS and lamp indicators for doors etc are all on and at times flickering. RPM/Fuel/Temperature gauges will jump and flicker as well.
Just replaced the battery as the car kept dying and needing a jump.
Previous owner had a new alternator put in 2006.
I measured close to 18 volts on the battery at around 2500rpm. With lights on/off no change. Car is running and starts (I guess it is charging.) but the dashboard lights are still flickering etc... Do I have a bad alternator/regulator or a bad ground?

That alternator is overcharging,@ 18V
I would suggest a replacement as soon as possible.

 

My next step. Looking at pricing etc and if I can do it myself. Odd that it was already replaced. I will check the grounding just to be safe.
