08 lx check engine light came on after cold air install
I just installed my aem cold air intake on my 2008 2 dr lx and the next day my check engine light came on. Any ideas? Maf sensor issue? Or could it be the rain?

What kind of CAI? Did it have a MAF insert? If not, that is the reason.
Rain would not cause anything to happen, unless you drove through a puddle and subsequenntly hydrolocked your engine.

It may just be the ECU is not adjusted to the increased airflow yet. Either drive around for a little bit, or reset the ECU.
probably due to the rain because it the air was very humid. reset the ecu by unplugging the battery for about a minute. make sure you have your radio code.

That happens alot when u change the airflow .. With anycar.... Ur really supposed to drive the car slow when u first install it so that the computer can read it correctly at first.... Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes then connected again it should reset........
you should try to get the code first before doing anything that could cause more damage. once you have the code then start from there!
