Have a 1994 accord EX and my auto tranny is bad, Anyone got one for sale??

There is a guy near Indianapolis that has a F22 with a 5 spd. tranny for $150.00
He says it's got a new clutch and everything worked when pulled. I know it's a manual, but for $150 you could learn to drive stick.
Or I could swap out for a 5 spd and sell you my auto for $400.

 

Well I am a little confused by your post! First of all, I have had more manual tranny cars than most people have ever thought of owning!

Second, I have located a few trannies.....and they were all less than $400 bucks. Unless you have one with less than 90K on it, I will pass. But if you do have a super low mileage transmission in your car and are serious about selling it, let me know.

 

It was a joke. I don't know, nor do I care how many manuals you've had or if you can or can't drive stick. I was just giving you a heads up that there's a 5 spd near by. I do have an auto with 83k on it, but it's in my car. If you wanted to buy it, I would gladly sell it. But I have to buy and swap the 5 spd in first. That could take some time and you don't live super close. Do you have a spare manual trans?

I dont have another manual tranny.....although they seem to be fairly easy to come by. Let me know if you decide to make it happen. I wanna fix mine asap/.
