Roll cage floor plates...Mig or Tig???

Default Roll cage floor plates...Mig or Tig???

Quick question....for a chromoly cage...are you guys MIG'ing or TIG'ing the floor plates to the floor boards????

MIG. It is much easier to weld the not so clean metal. TIG requires a much cleaner surface than MIG so it is easier and faster just to weld in with a MIG machine.

Mig! tig is not worth it IMO. iv done it once and only once... never again! mig done properly will hold just as well as tig aside from being faster and easier!
