Post exhaust.

ok. this isnt the first time ive asked this, and yes i have searched. what is the specifications of the factory exhaust on a 97 prelude h22a4? im talkin like the factory header and cat and cat-back. i got a guy wanting to sell me his header but i dont want to buy something that isnt gonna help. then again its only 20(used)

stock header is stock as in stock performance str8 out of the honda....more performance is AFTERMARKET brawww

oops i guess i wasnt very specific. i want to know the diameter. i dont wanna buy a header from someone and it just be a shiny one that is not gonna improve performance.

IIRC, the primaries are 1.875, secondaries are 2.0, and collector/cat are 2.25. But I might be wrong.

what do you have now that could be more restrictive than the stock header? i've never heard of any aftermarket header being smaller than the stock one. if, however, you have no header at all, the stock one is not a bad choice to get you going as negligible gains have been shown with anything except the really-well engineered (read: $1k+) headers.

thanks kronn. i think im going to pick them up they look decent and rthe dont look any smaller then the factory one. appreciate the info.
