Default Keep the N/A B16a, or go Mini-Me Turbo? Who has done it?

I have been debating, and ended up putting my CRX up for sale on the AutoTrader for sale. For reference, see the link in my sig. However, I am not sure what I want to do right now. I know the Mini-Me's are very inexpensive, and fairly easy to do. I was talking to a local guy (Ken) with a N/A Mini-Me that's pumping more HP/Torque than my B16a, and the only differences he has is a Apex-I and a FPR (Mini-Me is stock...I/H/E, Integra Pistons). I need some $$$ right now for some expenses...and I love my B16a and all..but this really looks like something I might want to do. If I do decide to do it, I would like to go turbo w/it, but I know that can be a problem sometimes as far as the compression on the Mini-Me's. I'm not toooooo (I can do some stuff, but internals of an engine are not my strong point) comfortable w/ replacing pistons, so will the stock ones be okay if I am going to be running like 8psi? Overall, (looking to spend about $2k on a decent 90-91 CRX Si) how much am I looking to spend to do the Mini-Me w/ Turbo, and has anybody done it and I can check out their setup? I am also looking for A/C, and this car has no hope for it (Need new pipes, condensor, everything)...Would I be able to keep the A/c If I go Turbo Mini-Me on the new CRX?

Thanks,
jB

b16 then turbo

if you wait you will be much happier. My buddy and i both have hb his a d16turbo and at the time(two summers ago) mine a cx W/b16a2. He beat me by 2 cars @5psi. I was disappointed, but waited and got my turbo. Long story short he ran a best of 14.7 and me at 4lbs ran the same without 3rd gear and some of 4th too due to clutch.

Wha?

why would you run 4psi?!?!?WTF

anyway. umm I've got a D16 going turbo, with internals i'm looking to make 250ft/lbs. This is pretty easily attained(1 BAR). Also a buddy of mine who is spending a Lil more than I am (relative to a b-series it still aint much), Is building a D block for his girlfriend and he will also be making a lil less than 300WHP

you could run a stock block up to about 10psi and put about 200hp or so to the ground.

You CAN make power with these engines and sometimes more tourque than a B16

Point, power can be made.

My advice... if youve already got a B swap keep with it.
You can make more power if you want it, and yoiur rods wolnt snap like toothpicks.
