would a bike cost a month with good credit?
Also.. About how much is insurance? And do u pay like every month or once for a certain amount of months?
I'm looking at getting an R6 or a Gsx-R750. If I get the r6 it ranges from 2006 to 2009 and for the gsx from 2006 to 2008

My favorite loan calculator:
http://www.bankrate.com/brm/popcalc2.asp
Enter the price of the bike you want, enter the down payment, enter the interest rate, and enter the term of the loan. You'll figure out your payment.
Geico.com, Progressive.com for insurance.

i pay about 2-300 a month, but that because i want to pay it off fast. minimum is 99.00 a month for first 2 years. i had a fico score of 710. put down 2500 and got the bike for 9k otd. btw its an 2008 suzuki gsxr 600. insurance is with mcgraw. 31.00 a month liability. theres no way anyone at the age of 21 in my city could afford a sports bike with full coverage with a clean record. 1200.00 a month i was quoted with 4-5 insurance companies.
I pay around $300 or so a year for insurance on my GS500F. Depending on your insurance company, age, and experience, a 600 can be much more expensive to insure; a 500 is about as fast as a C4 Corvette (my previous daily driver before I bought the Civic), but a 600 will have more than twice the power of a 500.
And payments per month? If you're really good with your money, you don't make monthly payments.

but to not be an *******, buy your bike in cash, insurance for a bike like that depends a lot on how old you are, how long you've had your license, marks on your record and how long you've been riding, lowest i'd say based on what little i do know about you would be around 200 a month for insurance
I pay $220 a month for my bike payment and 200 a year for basic insurance on my 07 600rr...I also bought it brand new and put nothing down on it and the intrest is railing me in the *** every month cuz I am an idiot
I'll call you an idiot again if you don't bump up your insurance to full coverage. You'll be crying when you have to pay for a bike you no longer own (if it gets crashed or stolen).
my r6 got stolen after leaving it outside at homegirl's house for half a day. PLEASE get full coverage or don't ride, or you'll cry yourself to sleep like i did.
i pay $400 for PLPD on my 92 CBR600. i am also 19 with 0 tickets and crashes. for full they wanted to add another 1K a year on top of that so i said no. some may think PLPD is a bad idea especially since this was my first bike but i have already saved the value of the bike.

Especially at 17.
And your insurance will likely cost more per year than the entire purchase price of the bike. Especially if you finance, which requires full coverage. And especially if you want a late model supersport, with which you'd be insane to not carry full coverage because you know you're going to dump it.
If you really want a bike, make a "payment" to your savings account each month for the next few years, and pay cash when you can afford what you want. No financial risk, and earning interest is much better than paying it. Don't forget to save some extra for gear and health insurance.
I get the feeling you're not going to listen anyway, so I don't know why I'm sharing good advice . . .
a new 600 is damn near 10k out the door, most people dont have or want to drop all that money at once. Nothing wrong with financing. if you can afford the payments and make them ontime financing will just help build your credit.
you dont need full coverage for the theft. Theft is under comprehensive not collision. Comprehensive is pretty cheap. I pay like 200/yr for my bike w/theft.
Yet another reason a brand new bike, let alone a brand new supersport, is a bad idea for a first timer. You're actually making my case for me.
