its clicking from the relay on the kick panel... the pump primes n then shuts off.. maybe a wire is loose on the pump? but iv never heard that relay click that loud before
is the car starting? the relay should click lightly.. not to loud mine is exposed haning down i dont even hear it but i do have a walbro (loud) do you have another one to try or do what they say here great infomation http://techauto.tripod.com/mainrelay.htm
When I turn on the car the main relay starts clicking. I changed it out and still the same thing. What is causing it?
The main is getting low current. The result is a fast clicking relay. The current comes from the battery. The ECU then outputs the current on pin A7 on the ECU. The fix is to make sure the car battery is strong, connections tight and fully charged. Then make sure that the check engine light is not on and the ECU is properly grounded.

if its rapidly clicking it signals that there is a loose connection and more than liekly you have a bad solder joint inside the relay or a pin at yur ecu us loose... can u hold the gas down a keep it running
Is the clicking only when trying to start the car? Since you said it's inside the car. Ok, check the ground on the thermostat, that is the ecu ground.
Check to see if all your connections are fine for the injectors. With the key on the on position the fuel pump should prime then shut off after 3 seconds.
Check timing if there is no loose connects on the fuel injectors. Find a friend with another relay as well.
For the clicking, Fully charge the battery, clean the terminals, clean grounds and try. You probably just have a loose connection some where.
Bud.
