I have another post about the temp but nothing yet. for some reason its working backwards the car is off right now. dont know what happened.

I used the original faces as templates ran them through the computer then cut there plastic shapes and layed red translucent vinyl on top then the black with everything cut out. now it reads 130mph and up to 9000rpm and most of all its all red. I would of took pics while I was doing it but Its not any easy task took 3 tries and 2 weeks. and now the temps crazy. and got yelled at by the junkyard, who knew that you wernt suposed to tack clusters apart.

drifted once at 80mph across a s turn bridge. dont think I will do it again in my civic but love drifting. whats crazy is sliding across a bridge looking at a gaurd rail 2 feet in front of you with a 30foot drop off. and still knowing when to turn, shift, accel, and brake all with no panic.

how did you drift with the civic? did you pull the e-brake and step on the gas while turning your wheels? anyway it would be cool if you created a DIY for ricers out there

For ricers? I disagree. I think customizing the cluster can be very tasteful if done right. The OP's gauge looks good, but I wouldn't personally do it. There will be a lot of problems getting the needles to read accurately again.

it is possible to drift a civic without using the e brake but I do agree that its a rear wheel drive sport. and for my gauges in my case none of the factory gauges I ever came across in the past were ever 100% accurate, thats why they sale aftermarket gauges and I wanted it to be different, I could have gone with making a fake jdm cluster. or spent the time and money on leds, or do this for $10.

I'm liking the "TUNE UP" light at the bottom. Real classy.

Grow up man.

Your cluster is actually really good. I wouldn't have the patience to try and customize something like that. Great job!

@all you people hating on his cluster.
Get over yourself. That is the biggest downfall of this forum; no one supports creativity and individualism. As soon as someone tries to do something cool you guys all pop in with your "ricer" crap. Seriously grow up.

Drifting|ドリフト走行|dorifuto sōkō refers to a driving technique and to a motor sport where the driver intentionally skids the rear tires through turns, preserving vehicle control and a high exit speed. ...

DORIFUTO!

Its not really the fact that people can't afford expensive clusters; sometimes its just cooler to be individualistic.

with the exception of the words "drift" on the tach, i like this alot. it looks alot like a red Si cluster only with the EX numbers. if i didn't have an Si cluster, i would defiantly rock that nice work
