thats something i wouldnt buy because i dont know how to do body work.. the fender rust and ****, u can get new fenders, the other rust it what matters, if you dont know how to do body work and want good body work your going to pay.. but you figure, put on new front end parts, an pay 2000 or more in body work an can have a fresh car.. depending on how the interior looks.. but id definitly say its a project.
honestly it's up to you. if you have a large chunk of change, the ability to replace rusted rocker panels, and the will to do it, then by all means SAVE IT. but be ware, with that kind of rust, expect to see more hidden else ware on the car.
but for 300 i'd pick it up too, even if i did just drive it till it fell to pieces.

For $300 I think it’s worth it. Your gonna spend a majority of the money restoring the body but if you look for a real mint crx there gonna cost you $1500-$3000 so in reality that's what it's gonna cost to get it back mint but at least you'll know it's not gonna get rusty for a while.

If you wait a better deal will come along, you might spend alittle more but you won't have to put as much money in it to get the car to look nice, I bought my 91 Si Hatch at an auction for $50 with a blown motor and ZERO body damage or rust, slapped in a JDM SOHC ZC and went from there.
That's not even that bad... Stop being a whimp and save it. There are WORSE condition crx's and the owners want more money. Are there any pictures of the under body?
If I lived closer to there, I would for sure pick it up. Just because it looks bad doesn't mean its bad. You guy who said ditch it, have no faith. Unless it's an auto... lol

250k miles and it hasn't been started in almost 6 years? I will bet the underside of that car is as rusted as the sides are. it would be worth it as a parts car only, and thats if the interior was clean.
If the climate controls aren't broken, buy it and start seperating.

Damn, at this point there is more rust than CRX sitting there. Buy it and save the good parts to put on a decent bodied CRX--that is, if there are any good parts on there besides the mudflaps.
i wouldn't bother the rust can be fixxed but the fact the car has been hit in the rear would scare me away ,just my opinion .you should be able to find a better one for not much more money
