swap to vtec-e head?

Default swap to vtec-e head?

I have a d13 jdm or edm engine. same gasket as d15 head. so question what is the needs and process to install a effiency head such as d15z1

Don't, the Z1 head is kind strange, the Z1 uses dished pistons, if you use a Z1 head on anything else it bumps the compression ratio up quite high, something like 12:1.

ok which would suggest? and needs like dizzy, timing belt? any help is great

I couldn't tell you anything specifically for a D13, because quite honestly i've never seen one. The only reason I mentioned not to use the Z1 setup is because of its unusual nature causes it to be a problem pretty much everytime this sort of swap is attemped. Your best bet it to try to see if anyone from the UK knows anything about your engine, and/or what swaps on for a head as they got carbed D13s in some 5th gen civics.

yeah i am just gonna ask around. I learned that this engine in the US is not really able to be found, but thanks for ya help
