Default NEED HELP PLEASE! d15 backfiring

i was driving the yesterday and it was running fine i put some gumout fuel system cleaner in the tank and some seafoam in the engine about a week ago and a tank of gas ago. i stopped at a stoplight and my car died. i tried to crank it about 15 minutes later and it was running waaaaay rough, still popping and backfiring. soooooooooooo now i have only changed the plugs and wires and still no change. im thinking timing, or a fuel filter but not sure. im kinda sure a fuel filter wont cause backfiring. SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!! it would be appreciated.

look for an exhaust leak to. thats another thing that causes a backfire. as for the diying part, you may have plugged the fuel filter or the injectors. which is why you should use honda's method of don't **** with it!

Check your distributor, there is a VERY common problem of the rotor screw unscrewing and causing your car to stall, or be sluggish. Could probably be causing your backfiring issue as well.
