ok, i have a 89 honda civic si which has a 96 longblock in it but im unsure of what trans it is..
the code that came off trans is a cable L3-1311723 21 spline
and for some reason cant come up with what trans this is..can anyone help?
i keep ordering clutches for the wrong trans, 88+ is 20 spline..

please if anyone can help me resolve this issue id appreciate it..

 

88 is the black sheep year - 21 spline
89+ is 20

and if its the stock tranny that was in the car then its probably an si...

the si, dx tranny's are identical, the differance is in the final drive, the dx has a longer final drive.

and the hf tranny is all long gears.

try searching theres a **** ton of threads on here about the cable sohc tranny's
