i was wondering, i had my canadian spec obd2 00 r cpu modded, the rev limiter is upped,up to what revs do you guys with the rev limiter upped have tested it? i have til 9700rpm (on the cluster) but i'm starting to be affraid i might break a retainer or something,and yes the motor pulls up to those revs in the first 3 gears in 4th and 5th going past 9300 with the stock cams and pulleys is uselless.

 

could you list your mods? I would like to know how your hitting 9300 in 5th gear and where?

btw stock has no limiter.

 

I believe that the rev limiter he is refering to is the fuel cut-off. If it is, then yes, stock ITRs do have a revlimiter.... but not a speed limiter.

 

sorry i explained bad,my car is bone stock,so yeah no way in hell i'm hitting 9300 in 5th,soon tho as i have almost all the parts needed to install my big t-60-1 turbo,it will lag i know but when v-tec will it watch out.Yes i am talking about the fuel cut off not the speed limiter the r has none,so guys up to where do you guys have safely reved with the stock retainers?
