Default Home made boost cut for crome

So basic crome has no boost cut... Feature that should be on every boosted car.

I was thinking about removing all the fuel when car gets to the boost you don't want it to exceed.
Or completly retard the timing along with no fuel.

What do you guys think? I'm not sure if doing this is safe or smart.

i dont believe it would be smart or safe. The smart thing to do, imo, would be run run more fuel than really needed in these over boost areas. With these honda programs, you have really got to think whether running it with a value of 0 is really cutting fuel or is it going to run it so lean that it MIGHT misfire or will it keeping revving til it gets so hot and blows up?

good point, it would work if you run big enough injector... But then if your wastegate decides to stay closed (vacuume line gets cut), I don't think richening the crap out of it isn't going to help you. It will just keep on going.
I wish I could just get it to misfire in a very safe way, but I can't think of one right now.
This is bothering me and I can't sleep.

How about setting ignition timing to like -10 degrees and getting rid of the fuel so that it doesn't backfire?

If you feel like spending a few dollars on a hobbs switch and a relay, you can hook that up to your coil to cut spark when boost hits a certain psi level.I have only seen it done on external coils but Im sure it's possible on internal as well. It's also adjustable depedning on which switch you buy

Last time I checked crome has a boost cut in the extra features tabs. If it doesn't work.. it would be really really easy to get it to work.

Yea. You just have to download the extra features plug in. It has been available for a long long time.

I remember messing with all these features before, well at least I do now. Full throttle shift works, launch control only works if you add whole bunch of fuel and take away ignition timing at the certain spot in the map (make into antilag) but that completly messes up a spot in your map. I also remember the boost cut. **** short term memory loss! This is exactly why I stopped doing certain things.
