1991 crx, installing a b16a motor, still want to keep AC, the dc sports header crashes into the AC fan, its the stock ac fan, etc, i need a lower profile ac fan to use so it doesnt crash into the header, thanks

has anyone found an ac fan that works, or a radiator, and fan set-up that is lower profile for a 1991 crx si?

 

i would try 1 of two things. check part store (advanced/autozone/pepboys) and buy thier aftermarket radiator fan. its about half the size of the stock and works just as good if not better than the oem. try replacing A/C fan with that one.. OR if u still need more room, try going to the EG half radiator and then using fan clips u can buy from a parts store and clip your A/C fan directly to your condensor like u would a radiator. that should clear some more space for your headers.. i think the electric fan is like $80 and a radiator is around $100.. just a thought. have not yet tested this.. i was just looking at my electric fan and comparing it with the radiator and my roomates ZC with A/C EF.. looks like it would fit
