imo an auto tranny is alot easier to swap out than a manual one. the bottom of the manual are round versus the a flat bottom on an auto. at least my h22 was this way for the matter. the right tools can make the job easier and faster. mainly wrench, metric sockets, extention, two jack stands and a 1.5+ to jack. a helping hand would help. also i'd get at least a haynes manual but a helms is preferred. dealers sell them or you can get partial pdfs from the manual on some sites online
