Well, your best bet would be the J30(98-?accord)/J32(TL) your current motor C27, can be converted to Manual out of the early 90's Legend(same motor). more info can be found on the v6 performance they don't make squat for the C27, as you have probably figured out, I'm currently looking at info for the J30 swap, I keep reading its been done, but no pics, I just need to get a hold of a 97ish CL3.0 to take some measurements, then its time to play

If you are planning on turbo down the line, then just do an f/h series swap. The engine bay is already set up to accept mounts for f/h series. With the extra long space that v6 CD6 chassis provides, you will have plenty of room for a top mount manifold, huge turbine housing, and probably even space for a custom V intercooler/rad setup.

Swapping in a 6 spd j30 and turboing that sounds like a lot more trouble than it is worth. Considering the space limitations after the swap and the limited aftermarket support for that motor, you will not really be pushing too much psi.

I believe there will be issues if you try to replace the '96/97 C27 cast iron boat anchor with the '98 & later aluminum J30A1; not only from the size differential, but the weight as well.
Ironically, swapping in a built 4banger makes sense.
It weighs far less
Parts are more readily available
It will accellerate quicker
The car will handle better
