EF Part Question? help!
ok well i have been looking around a lot and i get so frustrated in the lack of parts produced for 88-91!!! so i am wondering...well the EG 92-95 parts fit on my EF? such as suspension components. like camber kits, control arms, ect. also the EG parts in general.
thanks, Casey
thanks, Casey
EG Armrests fit EFs pretty good, Had one in my hatch for a bit untill i found an EF armrest at the Junkyard.
Front Strut Tower Bars fit as well. Front strut tower bars fit too.

i got DA front hub assemblys w/ caliper and DA rear disc brakes on my 89 EF. used skunk2 front upper control arm camber adjuster, all fit very nicely. had to take out the fender liners and roll the fender back allittle to fit some 205/5015 in there, not hard to do at all. took 30 mins maybe. also used the DA proportional valve for the brake up grade also.

skunk 2 upper control arms are the only upper control arms that work. Lots of others claim to be for the eg/ef, but they all hit the lip on the inside of the fender and cause lots of problems. as far as the lack of parts, there really isnt.. there are people now that make everything you would need to make the suspension more adjustable, especially in the front. A full race traction bar and skunk 2 upper control arms allows you to adjust camber and caster, and toe is already adjustable from the factory via the steering rack. There really is not any reason to change out the control arms, unless you want some sort of macro caster adjustment, but if you know what you are doing, you could just have the parts made instead.
for the rear, the adjustability is a little bit more tricky, aside from a bit more camber, it isnt anything that a really stiff lower control arm would not fix.
Do you have a specific intention with the suspension that you can't do for some reason? because i cant think of anything you would want to adjust on the suspension that isnt either a) already adjustable, or b) available from some aftermarket company as a kit, part or modification to make it adjustable. There is a reason the CRX/civic and miata are the most popular weekend racers, and that is because of the number of adjustable parts made to make it so.
if all you want are blinging billet front lower control arms, you might be out of luck.

where are some websites where i can find some of the EF specific parts. also, wont the crx parts fit EF as well? also. would a 92-00 civic H-brace fit?
here is what i have in mind suspension wise.
-skunk2 front and rear cambers
-Tokico ILK coilover kit
-megan racing front and rear tie bar
-megan racing race spec front tower bar
-megan racing rear strut bar
-skunk2 RLCA's
hows that sound?

I usually find most of my deals on ebay. Haven't ever had a problem. As for the skunk2 stuff just hit up their website. The EFs have such a huge following they're just getting a little old so it's a bit harder to find parts, but there isn't a lack of aftermarket support. We just have to get more creative with our shopping. I have an Ingalls camber kit and they work great!
Also did the DA full disc swap with prop valve and master cylinder and booster. Total difference in stopping! I also have Tein coilovers for the DA on my rex, no problems.
I don't think the H brace will work for the Ef if they're for an EG/EK. Mounting points are different.
Good luck man, your setup sounds like it should be good.

eg struts work but backs wont. i had a eg wrecked it and it had tokicos all the way around i tried to swap everything to the ef but the backs wont fit
yea, your right, i looked also, couldnt find them, but as much as i hate ebay... here are some http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-...1%7C240%3A1318
Depending on your setup many parts are still a universal component...
Some examples mostly pertaining to the rear of the car:
- The front shocks from a ’92-’95 Civic and ’94-’01 Integra will work if you have the correct fork - the yoke is a larger size. There’s a catch to doing this; you must run Ground Control upper hats or modified (not recommended) stock upper hats.
- Various brakes and lines will work depending on the knuckle…
- The rear upper arm can be used from a ’92-’95 Civic and ’94-’01 Integra.
- The trailing arm is one of the most questioned parts ’90-’93 Integra, ’92-’95 Civic, and ’94-’01 Integra will work with their respective components…
- The rear shocks from a ’92-’95 Civic and ’94-’01 Integra will work as well as the lower control arm…
Here is my current set up for clarification - car isn’t currently running due to parts wait time:
’90 Polar White Honda Civic Si
Front:
- Ingalls front camber kit - not recommended unless you want matching alignment numbers. After installing the kit my negative camber was the same as before - maxed in the positive direction. If you want more info IM me and I’ll explain it.
- Koni Sport (yellows) with Ground Control Coilover Conversion kit and Upper Mounts - Shocks are too long!
- ’92-’95 Civic or ’94-’01 front fork
Rear:
- SPC rear camber kit - ’94-’01 Integra
- Koni Sport (yellows) with Ground Control Coilover Conversion kit and Upper Mounts
- Integra Type R lower control arm - same as the CRX
- Trailing arms - ’90-’93 Integra disk conversion
Notes:
- Shocks were from my Type R.
- Ground Control Coilover Conversion kit and Upper Mounts in combination with the Koni Sports were going to be my winter setup for my ’94 Si.
- When using the front ’92-’95 Civic and ’94-’01 Integra shocks they will be too long - your options are to buy shortened Koni Sports( yellow) or have some shortened.
- The ’90-’93 Integra trailing arm has the larger bushing. When buying Stainless Steel brake lines buy for the trailing arm you are using as they are different, but the fronts are essentially the same
Sorry for the rant. There are many more intimate parts that will fit, but this is a quick summary of primary components.
