well juz put a new motor in a eg and it seems to rev to like 3grand or even 4grand and cant seem to figure y....most ppl would say the iav(idle air control valve ) but i switch it out and still does the same thing...any pointers? help? lmk thnx

 

what does it do?

is that at idle?
or
does it only rev that high?

any CEL's
vacumn leak?
TPS?

 

no it does it at idle....and have cleaned the iav and checked for leaks..

no cel's
and it sits and 3 to 4 grand on its own
