Default sch. 10 filler of choice?

I did some searching, but didn't come up with anything too substantial. What size 308 filler are you guys using for your sch. 10? After my root pass it looks like i'm using too much heat to melt the 3/32, and when I lay off the pedal it takes some effort to remove the filler from the puddle, resulting in a unsteady bead. Do most of you use 1/16 after your root pass?

Use 0.045" for the runners and 1/16" for the head flange. It takes a little practice to get used to, but you will find it is much better and easier to control your weld flow this way.
