Default Fixing rear defroster...

So I noticed that my rear defroster stopped working when I tried turning it on in during the rainy days in L.A. I noticed that the clip was broken off the glass (one of the two clips that have a cable attached to them that are attached to the rear window) and if I would press it against it and the defroster it would work. So I was wondering besides taping it back on (temporary solution) what can I do to attach it back to the window? (permanent solution)

most likely solder it back on. Its a passive connection so you have to have both on there to make it work in order to complete connection. It all depends at what point did it break off at.

Is soldering the only option? I was wonder if there is any kind of "glue" that conducts electricity or a similar product?

You could use conductive epoxy but it is a bit pricey for the amount you receive.
