I recently bought a 98 honda accord that had been converted to from automatic to 5 speed and had a h22. the people that had the car b4 me had converted it to obd1. which means i dont have the original ecm. i am in the process of switching it back to obd2 with the original motor but keeping it 5 speed. i bought a new / used Manual trans ecm and wire harness. If i get a ecm pcm code for my 98 auto trans vin. will it work or do i need the vin from the used the ecm/ pgm...ALSO will a honda pcm tester work to program the ecm..
