99 B20Z2 with 98 Spec ITR tranny.

...it was fun while it lasted, (my buddy wrecked it for me)

Now I'm rockin' a 98 B20B with 99 Si tranny in a 93 Cx Hatch...so we'll see how that works for me this next solo season.

Ouch. One of the only things worse than wrecking your ride is your buddy wrecking it

How do you like the SI tranny with the B20? is the b20 stock?
i am running an LS tranny on my b20b. while it sucks on the street/track, it gives me a pretty perfect 2nd gear w/ 7k rpm redline for autocrosses.
you must have to shift into 3rd with the SI tranny for autocross??

I love it. Redline in 2nd with my b20z, (higher compression model) with 4.7fd itr tranny was 48 mph so the only two solo events I got to use it at were the biggest surfaces of the season with pretty straight courses, (I built my car for the smaller, more usual tighter solo courses but never got to use it) so I was in the top of 3rd mostly...but with the consistant powerband of the b20...it had plenty of power. http://www.teammfactory.com/gearcalc...=0&trannytype=

I didn't get my hatch until after the solo season so I've yet to really see how the b20b, (lower compression model) does with the 4.4fd si tranny with LS 5th gear. http://www.teammfactory.com/gearcalc...=0&trannytype=

From the charts I've provided...looks like the setups are real similar, (except for 5th gear).

Here is a good source for tranny specs: http://hondaswap.com/reference-mater...n-specs-29132/

44 is defiantely bettter for the ls/b20. i ran a 4.7 b16 trans on my ls and i'd run out of 5th at every track i'd race at.

What cams do you run and is that your only internal upgrade?

It can make as much as 220 and as little as 210, depending on fuels
Probably going to get in to some PT class in 2010, hc is boring from a motor standpoint with a K.

Crower 62403s with valvetrain, and a P8R head. I've seen those same numbers with a stock head though.
