Google up images or go on carmdomain.com. Do some research online or magazines. There is a lot of colors to choose from but its of your liking only. We all have opinions but its your style of taste, your car & your money. Once you've chosen your color you won't be disappointed. I'm sure you'll figure this out on your own.

There are many colors on the spectrum but each one goes with a certain style/trend.. figure out what style or trend your going with and then group up which colors go with which style you choose to go with then go from there.... I my self like the glossy/wet look and the flat/milky trend looks pretty good too
Something to remember when choosing paint is the kind of use the car will see. If it's a weekend driver, pearls and heavy metallic paints aren't such a bad idea. On daily drivers you might want to reconsider. DD's see plenty of abuse and the chances of having to do a touch up increase significantly. With any tri-coat and a lot heavy metallics, color matching can be a pain not to mention expensive. I've seen (and done) cars that'll look ok during the day but catch the same car in morning daylight or some lights at the gas station...Yikes. It's 2 different colors. It's just the nature of the beast.
I've seen some shops ease the maintenance of candy paint by shooting a similar color base coat under the candy for easier touch ups. E.g.-blue metallic under a blue candy. I haven't done it myself but the guys I talked to say this makes a world of difference. I saw the car they touched up and only after it was pointed out could I see the repair.
As far as color choice, I like factory colors with extra pearl. Maintenance be damned! But, it's your car.
