Default NSX Brakes, What Offset Is Safe?

I've going to be running NSX brakes w/ 11" Prelude VTEC rotors up front and RSX calipers with w/EP3 rotors in the rear on my DA in the spring.

Know I know I need a set of 15" rims to clear the brakes. I've got a set of hammer heads that will be my winter wheels. However, I want to get some nice low offset/deep dish rims to run on the car during the summer. I'm not sure what offset will fit though.

Anyone know what offset will be too much (won't clear), if you've got low offset and this set up, please post wheel specs and pictures.

There's no need for low-offset wheels just because you're using NSX brake calipers. For example, the offset on the stock NSX wheels is +60 mm front, +55 mm rear.

I know but I want to run a low offset wheel because I likely the look.

I want to know if I can run a +10-15 offset and still clear the brakes.

A low numerical offset like you're talking about sticks the wheels out away from the car. There shouldn't be any issue with the brakes, but it may very well cause the tires to rub on the fenders (unless you roll them or do some other body work to allow extra clearance).

You should run -15 offset. That will clear the brakes for sure.

Clearing the brakes, no.

Clearing the fenders, maybe.

Rolling or pulling the fenders isn't a big issue.

Thanks again.

also, offset isnt always the thing to look for when searching for wheels that will clear the brakes. its hubs size and/or spoke clearance.
