Default cold start problems. 92 si.

before i did this dx to si engine swap with the d16z6 the engine started right up no matter if it was cold or warm. everysince i put it into my sedan civic when the motor is completely cold it takes 3 minutes to start up. and then i have to rev it to 3k rpms for a few seconds or it will turn off after that it runs perfect and will start up perfect untill it cools completely. it seems like its flooding its self badly in the mornings.

the only thing diffrent to the motor is now it dont have o2 sensor and has dc sport header.

their is one sensor that got cut and it connects right their on the thermostat its a 2 priong clip. i dont know if that has anything to do with it but if anybody knows let me know what that sensor is for.

not having an o2 sensor is a bad idea unless your car has been tuned with a wideband. the 2 pin prong you are missing is the fan switch.

is that the one under the distubutor? the singe wire that gives the gauges the temp?

or the one in front of that sensor with a 2 prong pin?

Adjust your valves, seriously. I had a very similar problem only mine would misfire, and it would flood itself all the time, so I had them adjusted and it fires up perfectly all the time. You really can't go wrong with adjusting your valves anyway IMO, your engine will run better, thus seeing better gas mileage
