I finally got my clutch, flywheel, and LSD installed! Question though to anyone who has the quaife LSD. Is it really supposed to make a little noise. Its not like a rattle or vibration noise and the car drive amazing so I'm not really worried, I just wanted to make sure he want lying to me when it said it would make some noise.

 

Not sure about the noise, but how do you like it? Is it a pretty big difference in traction? I've never driven a front wheel drive with an LSD before that I know of.

 

I put the type R flywheel in when we did the work so that's something to get used to. As far as the LSD goes, my car feels more responsive in a hard turn and it doesn't feel like I have to let off. Now this could be the LSD or it could just be a new sense of confidence I have in my car because it has an LSD. Ive also noticed that my car is less prone to jerking in a direction when I drive over something uneven. All in all I like it, but its been a daily application thus far. Ill let you know as soon as I can go to the track.

I have the LSD and yes it does make a sound. Its awesome! I love the sound, makes the car feel like a real sports car!

 

I paid 850 for my LSD

 

I can't wait for my Type R LSD.

 

Its normal to hear that noise so don't worry! And yes what you are feeling is basically the way our cars should of came from the factory with an LSD!!!! Enjoy it buddy... cause I miss it when I had it on my Type-R EG!!!

Btw how much did you get the Type-R Flywheel for? was it new or used?
