what to do with a CG2??
Happy holidays, ladies and gentlemen! kind of early but nonetheless, with todays economy it only leaves one to hope that the rest have decent holidays :\
Anyways, here's the deal:
A few months back I accidentally have put me a 2005 Tuscani Coupe out of existence by colliding it with a Volvo. In search for a sound replacement I have settled on a 2001 Honda Accord Ex v6 Coupe. A fabulous choice, I have no doubts it will last me for years unless something terrible happens and the same fate consumes it too. The dilema is: I just don't know what to do with it!
I'm going to try to explain this one: it seems to me as if the 6th gen. accord is the least popular one among honda enthusiasts. For its noteworthy looks, a great engine and an impressive bundle of features and buttons, it offers very little to catch attention in tuning communities. It never came as a stickshift, or and AWD, it doesn't quite handle like it looks, and its weight (let along the incredible TCS) prevent it from FF-drifting in any shape or form. Even when it seems that a normal daily commuter would be an ideal use for it, the I4 Coupe fills the niche instead being more gas friendly. The V6 was obviously placed in this car for a different purpose. And I've seen photos of CG2's with very well done custom exteriors, with rims, lowered suspensions, exhaust jobs and other stuff, but the car being an automatic FWD still puts it out of the competition.
I guess my question ultimately is - those of you that love your CG2's and have done great things with them - WHAT DID YOU DO? what is the best use for it?

yeah, so I heard. Isn't that strange though? you'd think a V6 would come with one as well, since the only reason to pick a J30-equipped model rather than an I4 is for more power...
There are plenty of options out there for you. You can swap in a manual trans from a CL-S or and Gen 7 accord 6speed. There are headers for your car, a supercharger, custom turbo kits, plenty of suspension options as well. It all depends on your needs and your funds
